According to information from the Road Maintenance Management Board (Department of Construction): Due to prolonged heavy rain last evening (July 3), the landslide at Km12+600, National Highway 4D continued to expand, causing soil and rocks to flow down and bury the road. Meanwhile, the landslide at the Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Toll Station has not been repaired, causing traffic from Coc San commune to Ta Phin commune and Sa Pa ward to be completely cut off.

Immediately after the landslide appeared, the Road Maintenance Management Board deployed machinery and human resources to level the soil and rocks to quickly reopen the road.
By 10 p.m. on July 3, the landslide site was cleared for motorbikes to pass through, and by early this morning, one lane was cleared for trucks and passenger cars to pass through.

The landslide at Lao Cai - Sa Pa BOT Toll Station cannot be repaired temporarily due to objective reasons. Authorities, businesses and households are working together to resolve the issue.
