On the morning of January 20, Hai Duong Newspaper livestreamed the Kinh Mon onion and garlic harvesting experience contest.

Teams participating in the onion and garlic harvesting experience competition practice before the festival day.

The competition is expected to have 3 teams, including Than Toc, Dong Xanh, Huong Que, each team has 6 members who are onion and garlic farmers in Hiep Hoa commune (Kinh Mon). Each team will harvest 1 row of onions within 10 minutes, including tying the onions. The harvest must follow the process and techniques applied by local people in the onion harvesting process.

The prize structure includes prizes for the fastest harvesting team, the team with the biggest onions and the team with the most beautiful bunch of onions.

At Cau Yen field, Hiep Hoa commune - where the Kinh Mon onion and garlic harvest festival will take place in 2024, the Organizing Committee has installed a main stage, a theater with a capacity of 250 people, a booth area displaying typical agricultural products of the town...

To ensure the festival runs smoothly and safely, a detailed plan to ensure security and order and traffic flow has been developed. Nearly 30 police officers have been mobilized to perform duties at the festival site and 7 traffic checkpoints.
