Thereby, the Organizing Committee of the contest selects the most capable and qualified contestants to represent young people in the province to participate in regional and national information technology contests.
The contest is also an activity for students and young people to have more access to information technology in the digital age.
Mr. Tran Dang Khoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: “As a co-ordinating unit with the Departmentof Education and Training, Ca Mau Telecommunications, and the Department of Science and Technology to organize the contest; through each organization, the Provincial Youth Union hopes that contestants will update their new knowledge to meet the requirements and novelty and creativity of the contest. From there, we will find a young workforce with full qualifications and abilities to meet the requirements of developing our homeland and country.”
Tran Quoc Dat, Class 10A11, Cai Nuoc High School, Cai Nuoc District, shared: “Coming to this year's Youth Informatics Contest, I participated in groups C2 and D3 in creative software, with the topic of smart shrimp square drainage. This is a topic to support extensive shrimp farmers in regulating, managing and checking the quality of water in the farming environment. Regarding the control system, I used my knowledge of non-public programming languages to design. Thanks to the encouragement and enthusiastic guidance from teachers, I was confident, calm and maximized my capacity and creativity to complete the contest in the best way. We tried to demonstrate our abilities, not only for the results at the contest, but also to serve our homeland Ca Mau. I think this is a useful playground for those who love Informatics, helping us develop our creativity."
Similarly, Nguyen Thien Hoang, Class 8G, Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School (Ca Mau City), shared: "For many years participating in the Youth Informatics Contest, each time I compete, I win a prize. This is a motivation and also an opportunity for me to gain more experience and knowledge, and strive to win higher prizes each time I participate in the contest. The contest gives me a lot of useful knowledge, the opportunity to rub shoulders, develop knowledge, and IT thinking, and apply it to many industries in the future."
