Shorten the time to handle administrative procedures in the field of business registration

In order to facilitate the implementation of procedures related to business registration, the Department of Finance has just announced a reduction in the processing time for a number of administrative procedures in the field of business registration in 2025.

Specifically: shorten the processing time for some administrative procedures in the field of business registration from 3 working days to 1 working day, including:

Registering changes to the registration contents of branches, representative offices, and business locations; Notifying changes to business lines and professions; Updating and supplementing information in business registration dossiers.

Registration of temporary suspension of business for enterprises; Registration of temporary suspension of business for branches, representative offices, and business locations; Registration of continued business before the announced deadline for enterprises.

Registering to continue business before the announced deadline for branches, representative offices, and business locations; Re-issuing business registration certificates; Re-issuing certificates of registration of operations of branches, representative offices, and business locations.

In addition, the Department of Finance also shortened the processing time for a number of administrative procedures in the field of business registration from 3 working days to 2 working days, including: Registration of change of business name; Notification of establishment of branches, representative offices, business locations of enterprises; Registration of change of head office address (except in cases where the change of head office address leads to a change of the managing tax authority); Registration of change of investment capital of private business owners; Registration of change of private business owners.

For other administrative procedures other than the above procedures, the time for processing records is implemented according to the provisions of Decree No. 01/2021/ND-CP, dated January 4, 2021 of the Government on business registration.
