On August 28, in a solemn and emotional atmosphere at the headquarters of the "Loyalty - Determination to Win" Club, the Hai Phong Military History Science Association organized a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; and launched the book "Memories of Uncle Ho's soldiers" (volume 2).
The new publication is the crystallization of the passion of 28 authors, with 41 simple, authentic articles, full of comradeship and team spirit. The pages not only depict the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in combat, serving in combat, and performing international missions to help Laos and Cambodia, but also honor the noble qualities of soldiers in labor, production, and building their homeland after the war. From the fierce memories in Dien Bien Phu, Quang Tri, Truong Sa, to the journeys to search for and collect martyrs' remains, the book fully recreates a historical picture full of blood and fire but shining with faith and humanity.

In particular, many articles left a deep and emotional impression, such as the story of a veteran and his comrades finding the remains of 153 martyrs in Bien Hoa, or the memories of the unnumbered ships quietly crossing the ocean, associated with love for the Fatherland and the desire for peace. These memoirs are not only valuable historical documents but also words of gratitude and messages to today's generation about the responsibility to preserve the independence and freedom of the nation.
Released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, “ Memories of Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” (volume 2) has become a special spiritual gift, affirming the immortal vitality of the heroic tradition, while spreading the sacred human values that history and soldiers have left for the future.
