During the final working week of the 8th Session, the 15th National Assembly will consider and pass many important draft laws and resolutions, and conduct personnel work within its authority.

According to the program, today (November 25), the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly enters its final working week.
In the morning, the National Assembly is on recess. In the afternoon, delegates will discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising; solutions to continue to remove difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic so that Vietnam Airlines Corporation can soon recover and develop sustainably.
On November 26, the National Assembly spent almost the entire working day listening to presentations and discussing in the hall the work reports of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy ; crime prevention and control and law violations; enforcement of judgments; anti-corruption work in 2024. Results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations in 2024.
In the late afternoon, delegates will vote to pass three draft laws including the Notary Law (amended), the Law on Urban and Rural Planning and the Law on Value Added Tax (amended).
On November 27, the National Assembly voted to pass the following draft laws and resolutions: Law on People's Air Defense; Law on Trade Unions (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance; Resolution of the National Assembly on investment policy for the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the 2025-2035 period; Resolution on investment policy for the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control until 2030.
During this working day, the National Assembly will also discuss in the hall two draft laws: the Law on Employment (amended) and the Law on Special Consumption Tax (amended).
On November 28, the National Assembly held a meeting on the draft Law on Corporate Income Tax (amended) and the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations. At the same time, it voted to pass the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended) and the Resolution on piloting the handling of evidence and assets during the investigation, prosecution and trial of a number of criminal cases.
Notably, on the afternoon of November 27 and 28, the National Assembly had separate meetings to discuss personnel work.
On the morning of November 29, the National Assembly voted to pass three draft laws, including: Law on Geology and Minerals; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue. After that, the meeting discussed the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.
On the same afternoon, the National Assembly voted to pass the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Securities Law, the Accounting Law, the Independent Audit Law, the State Budget Law, the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, the Tax Management Law and the Law on National Reserves; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Planning Law, the Investment Law, the Law on Investment under the Public-Private Partnership Method and the Bidding Law; the Law on Public Investment (amended). Along with that, there was a discussion in the hall about the draft Law on Management and Investment of State Capital in Enterprises.
On the last working day of the session (November 30), the National Assembly voted to pass 3 draft laws and 5 draft resolutions. Specifically, the 3 draft laws include the Law on Juvenile Justice, the Law on Data, and the Law on Electricity (amended).
The resolutions considered for approval include: Resolution on establishing Hue City under the Central Government; organizing urban government in Hai Phong City; piloting the implementation of commercial housing projects through agreements on receiving land use rights or having land use rights; investment policy for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis.
In addition, the National Assembly will vote separately to pass a resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City and Khanh Hoa Province.
