Quang Ngai promotes digital economic development in industries and fields

PTQ - According to Plan No. 114 just issued, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province will promote the development of digital economy in all sectors and fields in the province by the end of 2025, aiming for the digital economy to reach 20% of GRDP.

According to Plan No. 114 of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, the goal is to bring the proportion of the digital economy to 20% of GRDP. Of which, each industry accounts for at least 10%, labor productivity increases by 7% per year, 80% of the adult population has an electronic identification account and over 50% of small and medium enterprises use digital platforms. The plan focuses on 5 key areas: e-commerce, smart tourism, smart agriculture, smart manufacturing and logistics. The main activities include measuring digital transformation, connecting businesses with the digital ecosystem, deploying IoT infrastructure, digital payments, digital skills training and communication to raise public awareness.

The Department of Science and Technology is the unit in charge of monitoring and coordinating implementation with departments, branches, localities and enterprises. This is an important step, contributing to promoting comprehensive digital transformation, towards the goal of sustainable development and national digital integration.
