On the evening of July 2 in Hanoi, singer-actor Nguyen Quang Anh held a thank you party after winning the audience's choice award at the music competition Talent Rendezvous .

At the event, Quang Anh shared that the joy of receiving the Champion award voted by the audience is still intact in him. According to the male artist, this victory comes from the love of the audience and his own constant efforts in pursuing his passion for music.
“Since I was young, I have always been proactive in pursuing my passion. Once, to perform at the Ba Dinh District Cultural Center, I went to see the director myself even though I didn’t know who was in charge. Luckily, after hearing me sing, he gave me the opportunity to perform the next day,” Quang Anh said.
He also admitted that what made him most confident when entering the competition was not his vocal technique or performance, but his family - a solid support that has always accompanied him and given him timely advice.
“This award is a meaningful gift I want to give to the audience and my family, who have given me the confidence to continue on my artistic path,” Quang Anh said emotionally.

It is known that Quang Anh's parents are both lecturers at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. His father is Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen, a lecturer in the Traditional Musical Instruments (moon lute). His mother is artist Mai Huong, a lecturer in Philosophy.
Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen could not hide his emotions when sharing about his son. He said that since childhood, Quang Anh was very obedient, showing his artistic personality and independent spirit early. Seeing that his son had passion and artistic qualities, his family always supported and accompanied him in all his decisions.
“Quang Anh’s artistic personality was evident from a very early age. We always accompany him in all his activities. Quang Anh himself is also a progressive person, eager to learn and serious about self-development. We are very proud of that. Hopefully this victory will give him more confidence to firmly step on the artistic path he has chosen,” Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen expressed.
Ms. Mai Huong also revealed that she was the one who encouraged her son to participate in the Talent Rendezvous contest.
“We consider this a game, so we always tell our children to be happy, relaxed, and take it as far as they can. There is no need to stress about the prize. When our son won the Audience Choice Award, we were very happy with his victory, but I also want to advise him to try harder and strive to shine and continue his success,” said Ms. Mai Huong.
In an emotional moment, Meritorious Artist Ngoc Quyen suddenly went on stage to play the drum to “entertain” his son. Although he did not have drumsticks, he quickly used chopsticks instead, showing the humor and psychology of a father.

Artist Thanh Thanh Hien, who directly guided Quang Anh throughout his journey at Talent Rendezvous , attended and shared many emotions about his special student.
“Quang Anh is an intelligent boy, full of positive energy and possesses many artistic talents. I just need to give him a suggestion and he quickly accepts it, creates it and turns it into a highlight on stage.
In the contest, you only introduced 2 self-composed songs, but according to the sharing, Quang Anh already had more than ten written songs. That shows the abundant creative power inside you", the female artist shared.
Artist Thanh Thanh Hien also highly appreciated Quang Anh's stage presence and serious work ethic. She said: "Any competition has pressure, but Quang Anh always appears professional, neat and well-prepared. That clearly shows that you are someone who has been truly trained and tempered."

Singer Trong Tan and his wife arrived early at the party to congratulate Quang Anh on his victory. He said that his family and Quang Anh's family have had a close relationship for many years, and they both work at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
Witnessing Quang Anh's growth from the early days, the male singer praised: "I have listened to Quang Anh sing and had many opportunities to share with him about his career and music. Today, I am very happy to see him receive a well-deserved award to further motivate him on his path to pursuing music.
For an artist, the love and acceptance of the audience is the most precious gift. And in the recent competition, Quang Anh won very convincingly."

The party atmosphere became more exciting when the Top 12 contestants of Talent Rendezvous together re-enacted the theme song Towards the Star by musician Ho Hoai Anh. During the exchange session, many contestants shared their sincere feelings about their eldest brother Quang Anh.
Ni Ni, a contestant of Talent Rendezvous, shared her feelings about Quang Anh: “Everyone in the contest loves each other very much and especially has a lot of affection for Quang Anh. We are here like a family. I will always remember the days when I flew from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to meet the contestants from the North, the first person to ask, chat and connect was Quang Anh.
At first, I thought that as an artist, he would keep his distance to protect his personal image, but after getting to know him, I found that he is very funny, smiles a lot, and always makes everyone feel comfortable."
Thanh Thuy - the winner of the highest prize at Talent Rendezvous - also expressed his sincere gratitude to Quang Anh. He commented that his junior is a sincere and emotional artist, so he always receives love from everyone.
“From the very first episodes, the 12 contestants have cared for and bonded with each other like a small family. The contestants from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi encountered many difficulties, and Quang Anh was always ready to support them with everything from costumes to accessories,” Thanh Thuy shared.
Thanh Thuy also recalled a memorable memory behind the scenes: “There was an episode where I was criticized for wearing shoes that didn’t match the song. Not knowing what to do, I went to Quang Anh and he was willing to lend me a pair of shoes he had just bought. We shared a lot of things with each other, and I think that was the most valuable thing the competition brought.”
After leaving Talent Rendezvous , Quang Anh said he will soon release a personal product and officially pursue a music career seriously.
The male artist affirmed that he is aiming for the image of an all-round entertainer, not only singing but also having the ability to compose, perform and master the stage. He also frankly expressed his desire to "escape" the role of an actor to sing to step out of his comfort zone, affirming his own artistic color in the music field.
Not only possessing a warm, emotional voice, Quang Anh also has the ability to compose. He can also play many musical instruments such as piano, moon lute...
Quang Anh (born 2000), is currently studying a master's program in Cultural Management at the Central University of Art Education.
