Mr. But was admitted to the island’s infirmary on June 18 with a concussion and scalp wounds on both temples. According to the doctors, he was given emergency care with antibiotics, painkillers, anti-edema drugs, and was asked to lie still. After three days of intensive treatment, his health has stabilized: he is alert, responsive, no longer has headaches or nausea, and his wounds have dried.

Sharing before leaving the island, Mr. But said: "I am grateful to the doctors and nurses here. Thanks to timely treatment, my health has recovered. I will continue to go out to sea with my fellow sailors."

Over the past time, the military medical force on the island has always been on duty, promptly providing first aid and treatment to fishermen who have unfortunately encountered accidents at sea. This demonstrates the sense of responsibility, dedication and professionalism of the Truong Sa military medical force in taking care of the health of the people, especially the fishermen who are working day and night at sea, contributing to protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.
