Quy Nhon Tay Ward promotes economic restructuring for rapid and sustainable development

(GLO)- That was the direction of comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee at the 1st Congress of Quy Nhon Tay Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030, taking place on the morning of August 24.

Also attending the Congress were comrades: Huynh Thi Thuy Van - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Thi Thu Hoa - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee; Ho Thi Kim Thu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and 100 delegates representing 750 party members in the entire Party Committee.

Quy Nhon Tay Ward Party Committee was established on the basis of merging Bui Thi Xuan Ward Party Committee and Phuoc My Commune (old).

At the Congress, in addition to comprehensively evaluating the results achieved in the past term, delegates focused on discussing and proposing 5 key tasks and 4 breakthroughs to create a solid foundation for successfully implementing each target and task set out in the new term.

Accordingly, the ward strives to have over 90% of grassroots party organizations completing their tasks well or better; the rate of new party members admitted annually is from 3% or more compared to the total number of party members of the entire Party Committee.

The growth rate of product value reaches 13.3%/year; average income per capita by 2030 reaches 90 million VND/person; total budget revenue in the area by 2030 reaches 92.5 billion VND; total export turnover reaches over 1 billion USD; by 2030, near-poor households are eliminated and the rate of urban population using clean water through centralized water supply systems reaches 98.6%...

Speaking at the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the Quy Nhon Tay Ward Party Committee to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and unity; building a truly clean and strong Party Committee, building a team of brave, intelligent and dedicated cadres to serve the people.

Along with that, focus on leading and directing socio -economic development, ensuring the successful completion of the goals and targets set out in the Congress Resolution; develop action programs and specific plans for implementation with the motto "6 clear".

Flexibly apply mechanisms and policies suitable to reality, unleash resources to create breakthroughs in socio-economic development; promote economic restructuring, taking industry, trade and services as the driving force for rapid and sustainable development.

Focus on developing culture and society, improving people's quality of life; building and implementing plans and solutions for sustainable poverty reduction, promoting job creation, and creating livelihoods for people.

Comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang also requested the Quy Nhon Tay Ward Party Committee to do a good job in planning, managing and implementing planning, investing in the construction of synchronous and modern technical and social infrastructure; ensuring regional connectivity and consistency in planning. Ensuring national defense and security, maintaining political stability, social order and safety, building a solid national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the positions of Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Inspection Committee, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Quy Nhon Tay Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, the Ward Party Executive Committee has 23 members; comrade Nguyen Dang Thi Thu Hoa was appointed to hold the position of Ward Party Secretary.
