This project marks the return to the small screen of actress Phuong Oanh after 4 years of absence, and also marks the much-anticipated reunion with Doan Quoc Dam, his beloved co-star in Quynh Doll .

Wind Across the Blue Sky revolves around three modern women: My Anh (Phuong Oanh), Truc Lam (Quynh Kool) and Chau Ngan (Viet Hoa), each with a different story about love, marriage and the journey to find themselves.
My Anh left her career to retire, but gradually realized the growing gap in her marriage. Truc Lam felt suffocated in her married life with her overly practical husband and the interference of her biological mother. Meanwhile, Chau Ngan, a strong single girl, fell into crisis when she met a man who seemed to be ideal.
Sharing about the film, director Le Do Ngoc Linh said: “Although the topic is not new, we want to bring a different approach, delving into the character’s psychology instead of exploiting drama. After the storm is the blue sky, that is the message of tolerance and understanding in the family.”

Returning after a long break from acting, Phuong Oanh shared: “ Wind Across the Blue Sky is like the right person at the right time. After 4 years of stopping to focus on my personal life and business, I still cherish my passion for acting. And when the opportunity came, I knew I had to take it.”
In the film, the character My Anh has many similarities with Phuong Oanh in real life, a woman who knows how to step back for her family but is still independent and has a say in the family. However, according to the actress, the role still requires psychological depth and many valuable inner emotional scenes.
The film brings together a cast of powerful female actors such as Doan Quoc Dam, To Dung, Dennis Dang, Ha Thanh, and veteran artists such as Meritorious Artist Duc Khue and artist Tu Oanh.
This is also the first time Denis Dang, a familiar face as Creative Director in many MVs, has participated in a VFC television project.
