As the tourist center of the province, Nha Trang ward attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and relax, creating a vibrant life. However, along with the strong development of tourism , the security and order situation has many complicated problems. To maintain security and order, Nha Trang ward always identifies the building of the movement of All people protecting national security as one of the important tasks. Since then, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward have paid attention to leading and directing departments, branches and organizations to focus on building the movement of All people protecting national security to develop in depth and go into substance.

Security forces at the Nha Trang ward base participated in the fire prevention and fighting sports festival within the framework of the National Day for National Security Protection.

With the responsibility of being the core agency in building the movement, Nha Trang Ward Police has advised the Party Committee and the Ward People's Committee to focus on implementing many specific solutions to promote the role of the masses in ensuring security and order. In addition to promoting propaganda to raise awareness among people, Nha Trang Ward Police determined to focus on building and replicating self-management models, typical advanced models in ensuring security and order. Lieutenant Colonel Dao Xuan Truong - Head of Nha Trang Ward Police said that in recent times, the models have promoted positive effects in ensuring political security and social order and safety. In particular, the "Security Camera" model stands out, helping the ward police promptly prevent many fights, public disorder and verify and clarify many cases of insecurity and order loss in the area; the self-managed motorbike taxi team, the cage association on security and order; parishioners participate in crime prevention, drug-free neighborhood groups, etc. Through the activities of the models, valuable information has been provided, helping the police force promptly detect and handle many cases of security and order...

In addition to self-management models on security and order, residential groups in the ward have also strongly developed self-management models on fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) such as: Inter-family fire safety groups, public fire stations, mobile fire trucks, my house has a fire extinguisher, self-management apartment buildings on PCCC... Up to now, the area has maintained and expanded 225 models of "Inter-family fire safety groups" and 71 models of "Public fire stations". "The effectiveness of these models is demonstrated through the immediate handling of fires and explosions occurring in residential areas, agencies, and businesses, preventing fires from spreading and causing serious damage to people and property", affirmed Lieutenant Colonel Dao Xuan Truong.

Spread the National Day for National Security Protection

In order for the movement to spread strongly, Nha Trang ward is interested in organizing the National Day for National Security Protection with many meaningful activities such as: Donating hundreds of fire extinguishers to disadvantaged households in 75 residential groups in the ward; mobilizing and supporting households to open a second escape route, especially those with "tiger cage"-style barriers; organizing conferences to listen to people's opinions; supporting people on Bich Dam island to carry out administrative procedures on residence, identification, and setting up level 2 electronic identification accounts; organizing a fire prevention and fighting sports competition for forces participating in protecting national security at the grassroots level; visiting and giving gifts to disadvantaged families... These activities have attracted a large number of people to participate, thereby contributing to promoting propaganda and raising people's sense of responsibility in building the National Movement for National Security Protection.
