Dong Thuan Ward: Meeting with grassroots staff

This afternoon, July 11, Dong Thuan Ward, Quang Tri Province held a meeting with Party Secretaries, Party Cells, Group Leaders, Heads of the Front Committees of Residential Groups, and former Party Secretaries, Deputy Party Secretaries, and Former Chairmen of the People's Committees of former communes and wards in Dong Thuan Ward. Accordingly, Dong Thuan ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Loc Ninh commune, Quang Phu commune and Bac Ly ward (old Dong Hoi city). After establishment, Dong Thuan ward has a natural area of 26.49 km2 ^; population of 38,521 people. The working headquarters of Dong Thuan ward includes 2 locations, including: Party Committee, Front and mass organizations at Quang Phu commune headquarters; People's Council, People's Committee at Bac Ly ward headquarters.

At the meeting, the grassroots cadres shared many opinions and experiences in the process of building and developing the locality, especially the period before and after the merger. Thereby, promoting responsibility, contributing efforts and intelligence to the cause of local development in the coming time.
