One of the criteria of the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television is to mobilize the participation of a large number of people in the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends in creating photos, videos or having creative ideas, telling good stories, meaningful discoveries on the topic of Happy Vietnam, thereby contributing to spreading positive images of the country, Vietnamese people, and the precious cultural and historical traditions of the nation. This has attracted a large number of people to participate in the Award. These simple, everyday images have been sent by many authors to the Award Organizing Committee, aiming to bring positive energy because anyone can participate with the condition that they only need to capture a happy moment.
Lotus Marathon Festival

In the bustling and exciting atmosphere, the Red Lotus Marathon Festival took place like a big sports festival in the heart of Cao Lanh city. Thousands of people poured into the central area, creating a bustling, enthusiastic sea of people. Under the bright morning sunlight, groups of athletes prepared to start. The waiting area was beautifully decorated with the image of the lotus, the symbol of Dong Thap, further emphasizing the spirit of the homeland in each step. Not only a physical race, the Red Lotus Marathon is also a place to spread the spirit of solidarity, health and community connection in a space full of vitality and joy.

The work By the Sea of Hai Phu, by author Do Minh Quan, from Thua Thien Hue , captures the rhythm of life with a photo of the sunrise at sea when fishing boats return one after another after a long night of fishing.
Between heaven and earth, a heartbeat
In the brilliant sunset, there is a silhouette of a little girl placing her hand on the elephant's head, in the midst of the changing sky at the end of the day. There are no flashy colors, no eyes directed at the lens, but it creates a wordless, simple connection. It is a friendship that transcends language, a companionship that needs no explanation. It is also the extremely genuine beauty of everyday life full of peace in the vast nature, which the author Tuan Anh Pham, from Hanoi, sent to the Organizing Committee of the Award with the work "A Heartbeat Between Heaven and Earth".
It can be seen that each photo that authors from all over the country sent to participate in the Award is the most humane affirmation, the most vivid proof of a truly happy Vietnam.

Deadline for submission of works: From May 22, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Entries are accepted online at : https://happy.vietnam.vn Contestants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over The award consists of two categories: Photo and Video. Each contest category (photo and video) will have one First Prize worth 50,000,000 VND, two Second Prizes worth 30,000,000 VND, three Third Prizes worth 15,000,000 VND, 10 Encouragement Prizes worth 5,000,000 VND, one Most Voted Work Prize worth 5,000,000 VND. The Organizing Committee encourages and will award a creative prize in each category (photo and video) worth 20,000,000 VND for works with new ideas, creativity in content and form of expression. In addition, the Organizing Committee will award monthly prizes including First, Second, and Third prizes to the highest voted works of the month in each category. The Jury will select the award through two rounds of Preliminary and Final, both online and in person. |
