Deputy Prime Minister inspects preparations for high school graduation exam

(NLDO)- On June 25, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long inspected preparations for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Quang Ninh province.

According to the report of the Steering Committee for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Quang Ninh province, this year, Quang Ninh has 19,930 candidates registered to take the exam, an increase of 1,966 candidates compared to last year; 40 exam sites are arranged, with 849 exam rooms. All exam sites are arranged at schools with good facilities and convenient transportation.

Quang Ninh province has mobilized about 3,500 people from theeducation , police, health sectors... to serve the exam. Quang Ninh also established a Steering Committee for the 2025 high school graduation exam, together with the district-level Steering Committees to prepare early the conditions of facilities and equipment, ready to handle any arising situations.

Currently, Quang Ninh has fully prepared conditions for human resources, facilities, equipment; food hygiene and safety, disease prevention, security and order for the exam. Due to the locality's characteristics, the locality has arranged police forces to transport exam papers to island areas, strengthen control to avoid cheating using high technology... In addition to the exam sites arranging lunch spots for candidates living far away, there are plans to support candidates in remote areas in case of floods.

Inspecting at Hon Gai High School - the testing site with the second highest number of candidates in Quang Ninh province and working with Quang Ninh province, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long emphasized that this year's exam is more special as it is the first year organized according to the 2018 General Education Program with many innovations, the number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam is higher and organized for both students studying under the 2018 General Education Program and students studying under the 2006 General Education Program. Therefore, the preparation work also requires closer and more thorough direction.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long pointed out that Quang Ninh as well as central ministries, branches and localities nationwide continue to review the remaining work in the preparation work, ensuring requirements on exam security, medical conditions, food hygiene and safety, security and order. Thereby, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates during the exam.

The Deputy Prime Minister hopes that the staff and teachers directly working at the testing sites will continue to try, accompany and encourage the candidates during the exam.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long also reminded localities not to be subjective or negligent in the face of hot weather. At the same time, they should proactively handle any situation that arises related to the exam, no matter how small.
