Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc highly appreciated Dong Nai's efforts in site clearance.

(DN) - On the afternoon of August 14, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc and the Government's working delegation inspected the actual project of Component 1, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the section passing through Dong Nai province. Receiving and joining the working delegation was Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha.

At the project construction site, the intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, Phuoc Tan Ward, a representative of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board reported to the Government delegation on the project's progress.

Component 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project will be implemented from mid-2022, expected to be basically completed in 2025 and put into synchronous operation of the entire route in 2026.

Currently, Dong Nai province has basically completed the site clearance work for the project construction. In particular, at the construction area of the intersection between Vo Nguyen Giap Street and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, which is considered the most difficult in site clearance work, the locality has now handed over the entire site area for the contractor to start construction.

For construction work, contractors are implementing 35 construction teams, mobilizing more than 400 vehicles, machines and 440 workers. Up to now, the output value of Project Component 1 has reached about 46% of the signed contract value.

Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha said: After the site clearance work was basically completed, the project is currently not facing any difficulties or problems. Therefore, the province has asked contractors to speed up the construction progress and complete the project's technical traffic opening target before December 19, 2025 as requested by the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the project site, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc highly appreciated the efforts of Dong Nai province, especially the site clearance work for the project construction. "Up to this point, the most successful achievement of the project is the completion of site clearance work" - Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc emphasized.

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc also requested that after the site clearance problem has been resolved, investors and contractors need to speed up the project progress. Make the most of favorable weather conditions to speed up construction.
