Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien visited units to close books in 2024

This evening, December 31, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien visited the Quang Tri Provincial Tax Department and the Quang Tri branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies on the occasion of the final settlement and closing of books at the end of 2024.

In 2024, the Quang Tri Tax sector has synchronously deployed solutions, fully exploited revenue sources, strengthened the fight against revenue loss, reduced tax arrears and successfully completed the task of collecting the state budget.

Accordingly, as of December 31, the total revenue of the tax sector reached 3,550 billion VND (estimated assigned 2,951 billion VND), exceeding the plan by more than 20%.

For the Social Policy Bank, Quang Tri branch: in 2024, the branch's capital will grow by 11%, of which the local budget capital entrusted to the unit will reach 218.5 billion VND, the plan completion rate will reach 137%.

The branch's outstanding debt up to this point is about VND 5,286 billion, achieving a growth rate of 10.9%, reaching 100% of the assigned plan in 2024.

Presenting congratulatory flowers to the units, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien acknowledged and commended the outstanding results the units achieved in 2024, in the context of the economy still facing many difficulties.

In the coming time, it is expected that the Quang Tri Tax sector will proactively and synchronously deploy solutions, strengthen administrative reforms, actively support and remove difficulties for businesses and taxpayers, and strive to exceed the provincial budget estimate for 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien also suggested that, in addition to performing regular tasks, in the coming time, the Social Policy Bank, Quang Tri branch, needs to have flexible policies to increase access to social housing loans for more subjects, especially for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to help stabilize their lives.

On the occasion of welcoming the New Year 2025, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien wished the leaders, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the units good health, continued solidarity, unity and high determination to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
