Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc met with voters of Vinh Hau commune

On the afternoon of August 14, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc, a delegate of the Provincial People's Council, and the delegation of People's Councils at 2 levels met with nearly 100 voters of Vinh Hau commune after the mid-year meeting of 2025.

At the meeting with voters, the Delegation of the An Giang Provincial People's Council (Unit No. 9) briefly reported the results of the Second Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

The delegation of Vinh Hau Commune People's Council summarized the results of the 3rd Session of the 12th Commune People's Council, term 2021 - 2026 and reported the results of responding to voters' opinions and recommendations at the previous meeting.

Voters of Vinh Hau commune expressed their opinions at the meeting.  

Voters of Vinh Hau commune proposed to invest in and expand road 91C, inter-hamlet road to serve traffic, transport goods and develop tourism ; build a bridge connecting Vinh Hau and Vinh Truong (old), build embankments to prevent landslides; and a road leading from Da Phuoc - Vinh Truong bridge to Chau Phong.

Voters recommended that the locality build a clean water system for Phuoc Quan hamlet, overcome environmental pollution; build a residential area for Cham people (La Ma hamlet, Vinh Hau commune) and a resettlement area for people in the Kinh Xang landslide area; speed up the investment licensing procedures for the Con Tien residential area project...

Acknowledging and appreciating the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc said that An Giang province is receiving investment from the Central Government in many key traffic projects such as Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway, route N1... Along with that, many cross-connection projects, including the project to expand provincial road 957 connecting Khanh Binh International Border Gate to Con Tien, create development momentum for many localities, including Vinh Hau commune.

Regarding voters' recommendations, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that he will synthesize, classify and coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve each specific task with a clear roadmap.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc hopes that voters and people will continue to accompany and support the province's policies and guidelines; actively participate in monitoring, criticizing, and giving constructive comments so that An Giang can develop quickly, sustainably and successfully achieve the goals set in 2025 and the following years.
