(NLDO) – Mr. Tran Phong - Secretary of Dong Hoi City Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Hai Chau presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Tran Phong.

On the afternoon of December 10, the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to carry out personnel work. Mr. Le Ngoc Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.

At the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang announced the Official Dispatch of the Party Central Committee Office on the notification of the opinion of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on agreeing to introduce Mr. Tran Phong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Hoi City to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Next, Mr. Tran Vu Khiem - Head of the Organizing Committee of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee presented the report of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the election of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 17th term, 2020 - 2025.

At the conference, Mr. Tran Phong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi City Party Committee, was unanimously elected by the members of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, with 100% of the votes in agreement.

Mr. Tran Phong (born in 1974, from Quang Phuong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province); has a high level of political theory and a master's degree in economics. Before taking on the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, he held many positions such as: Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.

In October 2020, Mr. Tran Phong was elected as a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and assigned to hold the position of Secretary of the Dong Hoi City Party Committee. With rich experience in many fields, Mr. Tran Phong is expected to make positive contributions to the development of Quang Binh province in the new period.
