At 10am, the final exam bell rang, and candidates in Ho Chi Minh City finished their final exam for the 10th grade. At the exam site of Trung Vuong High School (District 1), the candidates happily ran out of the school gate to meet their relatives.
Outside the school gate, candidate Kim Quyen shouted "I got 10 points" as soon as she met her family. Quyen said that this year's exam was quite easy, she finished it straight away from the moment she received the exam and had time to check all her work.
A male student also cheered happily when asked about his homework by the volunteer team.
At the school gate, it is easy to see the bright smiles of the candidates after 120 minutes of taking the Math exam. This is a difficult subject to score, but according to general records, the students all shared that they could get a good score or higher.
Right in the school yard, Thien Phuc and his friend exchanged test results. Both of them were not too worried and were confident that they got more than 9 points. According to Phuc, the test was not too long, however, many questions were time-consuming due to the need for a lot of reasoning. "I only couldn't do part b of the geometry question, but the remaining questions I did, I was very sure of the answers," Phuc said.
After discussing with his friend, Tri Bao was startled to discover that he lost 0.5 points because he did not read the last question carefully and missed the requirement to calculate the perimeter.
Thuy Tram (Phan Van Tri Secondary School) burst into tears right after meeting her homeroom teacher. "I regret not being able to complete all the questions on the test," she shared.
Immediately, Ms. Mong Dep hugged Thuy Tram and encouraged her student who had done very well on the exam. Ms. Dep said that her students took the exam at many locations, but she always came to directly motivate them.
After finishing the 3 exams, many parents and candidates breathed a sigh of relief after the exam was considered the most difficult to score. This afternoon, students who wish to take the specialized exam will continue to take the specialized exam lasting 150 minutes.
After finishing the 3 exams, it is also easy to see the happiness on the faces of parents when seeing their children complete the important transition exam.
