To express our deepest condolences on the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, an outstanding leader and a great intellectual who devoted his entire life to serving the Fatherland and the People, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province organized a memorial service and set up an altar to worship the General Secretary's portrait in a sacred place for monks, nuns, Buddhists and people to burn incense in memory. Since the afternoon of July 24, preparations have been carefully implemented and completed. By early this morning (July 25), hundreds of monks, nuns and Buddhists have come to burn incense in memory and express their gratitude to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Venerable Thich Dong Niem, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, said: General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is an outstanding leader who devoted his entire life to serving the Fatherland and the People. The General Secretary's thoughts and instructions clearly show that building the great national unity bloc is the responsibility of the entire political system and the whole society, with the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, including religious organizations as the core. Following the teachings of the late General Secretary, monks, nuns, and Buddhists of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province turned sorrow into the strength of great national unity, continued to promote the invaluable legacies left by the General Secretary, and steadily moved forward to build the homeland to become increasingly prosperous.

At the same time, agencies, offices, public places, armed forces units and people in Ninh Thuan province simultaneously lowered flags to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The lowering of flags shows deep respect and remembrance for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Many businesses and business establishments such as Tien Thuan Garment Company, Co.opmart Thanh Ha Supermarket... have also lowered flags to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of Kim Song Ma Company Limited, expressed: To express deep respect and remembrance for the General Secretary, the company lowered flags during the days of national mourning. This is an activity expressing the affection and respect of the staff for the late General Secretary. As the political, economic and cultural center of the province, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City has stopped all entertainment activities during the two days of national mourning. At the same time, notify people that activities on the walking street will be temporarily suspended for two days, July 26 and 27.
Ninh Thuan was honored to have General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong visit and work twice. During each working trip, the General Secretary left in the hearts of cadres, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups a close, simple and affectionate image. Now, the General Secretary has passed away, but his teachings will forever be the "compass" in the hearts of every cadre, party member and people of Ninh Thuan.
