Beautiful coastal villages: Ha Lien 'oasis'

Ha Lien village in Hoa Thang ward, Khanh Hoa (Ninh Ha ward, old Ninh Hoa town) is attracting special attention from tourists with the unique beauty of the nearly 400-year-old village. Seen from above, the village looks like a poetic "oasis" shaped like a kite in the middle of Nha Phu lagoon.

Located about 30 km north of Nha Trang, Ha Lien village is located on a strip of land about 2 hectares wide, surrounded by aquaculture ponds in the Nha Phu lagoon area. Recently, this wildly beautiful coastal village suddenly became famous on social networks thanks to photos taken from above.

"Poetic oasis"

Established in 1653 under the reign of Lord Nguyen Phuc Tan, Ha Lien village has a charming beauty from the harmony between nature and people. Surrounding the village are aquaculture ponds sparkling in the sunlight, surrounded by a system of lush mangrove forests with mangrove, mangrove, parrot, and agarwood species forming a natural "wall".

Entering the village through the only concrete road like a "kite string", visitors will witness the typical scenery of a South Central coastal village. Most of the houses in the village are level 4 houses with red tiled roofs, located close together with roads only 1 - 2 m wide.

In the middle of the village is a small market with shops selling coastal dishes such as fish noodles, rice noodles, pancakes, etc.

In addition, ancient spiritual structures such as Ha Lien communal house, Nam Hai mausoleum, Thien YA Na temple, Hau Tho temple, Hue Lien pagoda... create a unique cultural feature for the village.

Attract customers with unique products

With 333 households and 1,128 people living mainly on fishing and aquaculture, reaching 400 - 500 tons per year, Ha Lien village is transforming towards developing community tourism . Over the past year, the image of the village's "lonely oasis" has been widely shared on social networks, attracting a large number of tourists.

Currently, the locals have started providing tourism services such as taking tourists to visit the mangrove forest, selling food and drinks. Mr. Pham Minh Dinh, a resident of Ha Lien, said: "Over the past year, many tourists have come to visit, I have used my family boat to serve tourists. Everyone praises the unique scenery and culture of the village."
