Same format but twice as difficult
The new generation of students 2024 has a more rigorous screening for the 8 competing teams when increasing the series of new and attractive challenges, cleverly placed throughout the rounds.
From the third round, teams must present their plans and be ready to "fight" to respond to difficult questions from other teams instead of the final round like in season 1. This change requires contestants to have a clear understanding of their team's project information and strategy system right from the beginning.
In parallel, in the 48-hour pilot project round, in addition to having to choose and propose 10 action steps to implement, the program also increased the difficulty by interweaving general and specific challenges for the teams. In particular, the challenge of removing an action step caused the teams a lot of trouble, but in the end, with flexible and creative thinking, the teams still tried to complete their projects.
Challenge the spirit of "dare to break through"
This year's final round was more intense with three dramatic and engaging rounds. After the elaborately staged performances in the "Overall Project Results Report" round, contestants were given the opportunity to learn more about artificial intelligence (AI) and apply it practically to their own projects to optimize efficiency and ensure sustainability.
Interspersed with the presentation of the content of the speech in the "Relay of Debate" round, the contestants also had to "struggle" with a series of unexpected questions from the other team, requiring extremely high problem-solving thinking.
In the "New Generation Students - Dare to Break Through" round, in just 30 seconds, the teams had to present their sharp arguments in response to questions that delved into their own Gen Z generation. Through this, we can see the spirit of daring to look at themselves, daring to contribute and daring to live responsibly towards society.

Gen Z's "daring" projects
Originating from the message "Sound from the heart - Connecting all souls", the SignbySign project - a sign language system supporting communication for the deaf of the University of Foreign Languages (VNU Hanoi ) excellently won the championship when it was evaluated as a project demonstrating Gen Z's sense of responsibility in "daring to make efforts" to build an inclusive community so that no one is left behind.

The two joint projects are Tellme by Hanoi Medical University with a psychological counseling platform specifically for patients' relatives - a group often neglected during the treatment process - and the Aloi project to create and develop an environmentally friendly food wrap made from aloe vera and capable of replacing the use of plastic by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNU-HCM).

Originating from practical ideas and daily needs, the New Generation Student 2024 program co-founded by VTV3 and Herbalife has created conditions for Gen Z to contribute to the process of creating positive values for Vietnam in particular and the whole society in general, with the ideal of youth "dare to have ideas - dare to go all the way and dare to win".
