Over the years, Quang Ninh press has always played a good role in disseminating and popularizing knowledge about health protection and care to the people. At the same time, it has spread news about good people, good deeds, achievements of the province's health sector; encouraged and motivated health sector officials and employees to overcome difficulties and challenges, and achieve many outstanding achievements. Many products on the print, radio, television, electronic newspaper, social network infrastructures... of the Provincial Media Center, when disseminating about the health sector, are of good quality and effective, thanks to accurate, multi-dimensional, and timely information. This result has a significant contribution from the Center's team of collaborators working in the health sector, with the advantage of being an insider to share multi-dimensional perspectives that readers, viewers, and listeners are interested in. One of the quite familiar collaborators is Ha Quynh Trang, with the pen name Quynh Trang signing under many quality articles that are regularly sent to contribute.
Quynh Trang is currently an employee of the Department of HealthEducation and Communication of the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC), which is responsible for advising on the implementation of health education and communication work according to regulations, and organizing propaganda for the tasks of the health sector. The team here is the focal point for coordinating with press and media agencies to organize propaganda and education on community health; propagate policies, laws on health work... Quynh Trang also regularly participates in coordinating with the team of the Provincial Communication Center to carry out a number of periodic columns and pages on radio, television, and print media, such as "For community health", "Health and life"...
Quynh Trang confided that she spends a lot of time outside of work hours reading newspapers, watching radio and television programs... to learn how to write news articles and skills in presenting journalistic works. Even when filming and taking photos, basic technical requirements are required to get good pictures. Thanks to that, each work that Quynh Trang sends to the editorial office is highly effective in propaganda and receives many positive responses. Especially the popular content, introducing new expertise and techniques without being dry, because the specialized languages are conveyed in the easiest to understand way. Then there are articles about difficult and severe cases that have been successfully treated and rescued right in the province without having to be transferred to the Central level; news articles warning and giving instructions on disease prevention very promptly... making people increasingly trust in the quality of healthcare in the province. The connection between medical units, medical staff, doctors and people is also tightened.
She confided: Collaborating with the press and television has brought many memorable experiences. During the peak of the Covid-19 epidemic prevention period, she and her colleagues were directly present at "hot spots" such as CDC, Provincial General Hospital, Quang Ninh Lung Hospital... to update current information on admission and treatment, and acknowledge the efforts of doctors and nurses in the epidemic area... Or after working trips to remote islands, she sent her thoughts and feelings to the writing page to spread the story of the grassroots medical team, despite difficulties, still devoted to the task of taking care of people's health.
With her "professional passion" poured into those elaborate writings, Quynh Trang has had works that won awards at the Journalism Festival organized by the Provincial Media Center for 3 consecutive years (2022-2024).
Soldier "1 job, 2 careers"
In the field of propaganda on ensuring social order and safety and fighting against crime, CTV Quoc Xa is one of the names that has been associated for many years in a number of programs, columns, and "hot" news bulletins of the Provincial Media Center. Behind that pen name is Senior Lieutenant Hoang Quoc Xa, an officer of the Propaganda and Education Team, Political Work Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police. The articles that he sent to collaborate have breathed new life into the infrastructure of the Provincial Media Center, spreading the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldiers on the front lines, in the hearts of the people.
Working in the Public Security sector, Quoc Xa has the opportunity to understand and closely follow to speak out the most authentically about the working and fighting activities of the units under the Quang Ninh Public Security, deeply reflecting on the feats and achievements of the entire force in the fight against all types of crime. At the same time, he spreads the examples of good people and good deeds in the movement of All People Protecting National Security, the difficult and arduous efforts of officers and soldiers in performing their duties, wholeheartedly "forgetting themselves for the country, serving the people". Quoc Xa is also the author of elaborate articles on participating in the fight against wrong and hostile views, bad and negative information about the People's Public Security force...
He shared: The frequency of events and activities of the Provincial Police takes place regularly and continuously. Therefore, the propaganda team in the force must also have good journalistic skills, sharp thinking, the ability to quickly synthesize information, and urgent working speed. Only then can we meet the requirements of timeliness and authenticity, providing the public with the latest and most timely information about political events, activities of the Provincial Police force as well as the security and order situation in the area. The high requirements of the job, the responsibility to best complete all assigned tasks... are the motivation for Quoc Xa to always strive, be enthusiastic in every news page, article sent for collaboration, even though he is not on the payroll of any press agency, and is not granted a reporter or journalist card.
Every month, Quoc Xa and his teammates participate in two "Quang Ninh Security" columns with a broadcast time of 15 minutes on the Provincial Media Center. This is one of the main news channels, updating all the hot news about the leadership and direction of the Provincial Police, the situation of ensuring security at the grassroots level in localities... Due to the requirements of the job, which often requires events or issues to be reflected, Quoc Xa has had to "operate independently" many times, taking on all stages himself from staging, directing, carrying the camera to record, take photos, even being the MC leading the scene, to collecting documents, taking notes, then returning to write articles, post-production... He has excellently completed the professional work according to the assigned duties and tasks but still fully fulfilled his role as a press correspondent. He said that he does not hesitate to take advantage of breaks, days off... to have the best articles and images sent to the editorial office for collaboration. When posted on the infrastructure of the Central Media Center, these are all the best, attractive and lively news articles, attracting many readers from all over the world to be interested and share.
Non-specialist but indispensable
Along with Quynh Trang and Quoc Xa, the Provincial Media Center currently has more than 200 collaborators inside and outside the province, expanding to different sectors and localities. Of which, nearly 100 collaborators regularly send news and articles to all of the Center's rich infrastructure. They are all attached to Quang Ninh journalism with passion, sense of responsibility, and talent demonstrated by many high-quality journalistic works, creative in perspective, truthfully and vividly reflecting social life. Thanks to these precious companions, Quang Ninh journalism has timely and multi-dimensional information in all fields and localities, contributing to effectively propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws.
In the face of the trust and enthusiastic cooperation of the collaborators, over the past time, the Provincial Media Center has always respected each collaboration content, paying special attention to receiving and processing all articles sent to the editorial office in a complete and timely manner. The attention and appreciation of the indispensable role of this special team has also helped the Center have practical, effective and timely solutions to connect and build an increasingly expanding network of collaborators. In particular, there is a specific mechanism for placing articles with "loyal" collaborators to suit the principles, purposes and propaganda topics at each time and properly exploit the capacity and strengths of each collaborator. At the same time, coordinate the implementation of training programs on journalism skills, creating opportunities for collaborators to exchange and learn; timely reward individuals with many high-quality articles... Specialized departments, even each officer, reporter, and editor of the Center are also very proactive in connecting, interacting, receiving and exchanging two-way information with the team of collaborators in different industries and fields to have effective and diverse content to guide collaborative news articles.
On the weekly Ha Long newspaper page, short stories, collages, and newly composed poems by Quang Ninh artists and contributors are regularly published. Or since 2022, the Provincial Media Center has organized the production of the Northeast Movement newsletter, broadcast early in the morning every day on QTV1 channel, which is an address to promptly update information on life and socio-economic development of the provinces in the Northeast region in general. To have this rich and vivid source of information, the Center has connected with a team of contributors who are reporters and editors from press units throughout the Northeast region, such as: Lang Son, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Cao Bang... to update new, hot information and promptly send it to the public.
The focus on expanding the network and improving the quality of the team of reporters has helped the Provincial Media Center have many news routes and articles that reflect comprehensively, honestly and promptly in all fields, especially at the time of political events, major holidays of the homeland and the country, or when natural disasters and epidemics occur... The Center's team of reporters also received great support and companionship from reporters in many trips to the grassroots areas, or were consulted when approaching difficult topics and specialized fields. For example, in difficult areas, remote areas, border areas, islands; or when working on "fronts" to prevent and combat corruption, protect the Party's ideological foundation, and fight against wrong and hostile views... Thanks to that, many issues of public concern and pressing issues at the grassroots level were reflected by reporters in a vivid and objective manner; The speed of information transmission from the time the event occurs to its appearance on printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television, etc. has been accelerated, meeting the timeliness of the information flow of Quang Ninh. Thereby, contributing to the development of the Provincial Media Center to become more and more comprehensive, becoming a multimedia, multi-platform press agency, successfully completing the tasks assigned by the province.
