Episode 190 of As If There Was Never A Breakup doesn't have many tears. But the drama of a fate that seems to only exist in movies exists in real life.

"If the person in the grave is Vo Thuan, then who are you?", journalist Thu Uyen asked Minh (real name Thuan). The DNA results announced by the program showed that Minh was Thuan.

The older you get, the more miserable you feel.

Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, lives in Phu Lac commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. He looks has dark skin, a thin, haggard body, and older than his age. His life is very sad. In 1980, he lost his mother while going to the market.

He slowly said: "Sometimes I feel so sad. The older I get, the more sad I feel. Everyone has a family, but I don't."

After getting lost, he was adopted by a family, named Nguyen Van Minh, and brought to Binh Thuan to live. His adoptive father's family had 8 children, and with Minh, they had 9.

At the age of 19, he got married, worked hard, saved money to buy a cheap piece of land, and the government lent him money to build a house.

Every day he wanders the streets, collecting dry firewood to sell. "I'm old so sometimes I feel tired. I try to make a living, earn money to take care of myself when I'm sick. I often cry silently when I'm far away from home, far from my family, missing my mother and sister. I pray to God and Buddha to let me find my parents, my grandparents, my uncles and aunts," he shared.

Lost as a child, he still remembers his name is Thuan, the names of his parents and siblings. But the place where he lived is unknown.

All I know is that it's an area with white sand like the desert, a ferry, a market. There's a girl next door who calls each other "you, me".

He was illiterate. A kind neighbor who knew about his situation wrote a letter to the program As if there had never been a separation, asking him to help find his family.

The Heartbreaking Coincidence in As If There Was Never a Separation

Based on Mr. Minh's memory, by the method of elimination, As if there had never been a separation, he found the land of white sand like the desert that he mentioned, which is Binh Dinh province.

The program met Mrs. Pham Thi Lai, who lives in Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province - a former neighbor. She told of how when he was a child, he and his friends from the countryside were naughty, always teasing and fighting. His aunt, Mrs. Tia, told of her family's many ups and downs.

His grandfather, Mr. Vo Tru, went to the assembly area, leaving his two children, Mr. Ta and Mrs. Tia, to be raised by their parents. Mrs. Tia married a man in the countryside. Mr. Ta went to Tuy Hoa to get married and had his first son, named Thuan, then returned to his hometown in Binh Dinh.

In 1975, Mr. Tru returned. At that time, Mr. Ta and Mrs. Huong had 4 sons. The fifth child was still in the mother's womb, and it was not yet clear whether it was a boy or a girl. Mr. Tru planned to take one of the children home to raise to avoid the situation of having 5 sons in the family, which means having five ghosts as the old saying goes. Before he could do this, Thuan went missing.

WhenMr. I heard that Thuan had gone astray, he rode his bicycle to Bong Son station to look for him. Street vendors said they had seen the child getting on a cart and following the banana seller. Mr. We rode his bicycle to every banana growing area but still couldn't find his son.

Five years later, someone told them they saw Thuan on the mountain in My Duc commune, Thuan My district. The whole family set off again. The boy was recognized by his family as Thuan because he had the same scar and familiar gestures.

After welcoming the person who thought he was his son, Mr. I bought a pig to treat his relatives and neighbors. Thuan could not speak, sometimes had epilepsy, and his whole body was swollen due to illness. The family still loved Thuan and took care of him. After living for 3 years, Thuan became seriously ill and died, buried on the family land.

Mr. Ta took his family to live in Nha Trang. He occasionally returned to Binh Dinh to burn incense for his family and his children. Mrs. Huong later suffered a stroke. Mr. I left the ship and returned home to take care of his wife. In 2008, his wife passed away.

At the age of 77, Mr. Ta suddenly passed away during his afternoon nap. His son Vo Tri said in the program: "It's so sad. Dad told me not to forget Mr. Thuan. Mom and Dad were worried that when he passed away, no one would take care of his grave."

If Mr. We were still alive, he would never have expected that one day his real son would return healthy after 46 years.

Perhaps many people wonder who Thuan is lying under the grave? This question is difficult to answer. But watching the program, feeling the "stranger" part of Mr. Ta's family, although rare, is warm with human affection.

"Sad for Uncle Thuan's fate, but oh well, at least before he died, someone took care of him", "So miserable, what a heartbreaking coincidence", the audience wrote.

An unexpected irony happened at the end of the show. AmongMr. Thuan's family members who came from their hometown to the studio to reunite, someone recognized an acquaintance in the studio audience. And that audience member was Mr. Thuan's adopted sister's husband.

Perhaps they meet without eliminating each other. The reason is explained: Because the family thought they had found Thuan, they didn't worry anymore.
