Comrade Pham Van Hoa, Party cell secretary, head of residential group 12 Chieng Le, To Hieu ward, shared: The 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 is not only an occasion to review the glorious history, but also an opportunity to arouse national confidence and pride. People are eager and believe in the wise leadership of the Party and the State in the journey of innovation, bringing Vietnam to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world powers. We have arranged for people to gather at the cultural house, provided drinking water, candy, and installed additional fans to serve the people who come to watch the parade.
From early morning on September 2, departments, offices and agencies under the Provincial Military Command gathered to watch the live broadcast of the Anniversary Ceremony at the Provincial Military Command hall. In the emotional and proud atmosphere, officers and soldiers felt more deeply the value of peace and their own responsibility in following the tradition of their ancestors, preserving the independence and sovereignty of the nation.
Senior Lieutenant Tong Van Ninh, Assistant to the Propaganda Department, Political Department of the Provincial Military Command, expressed: Watching the live broadcast of the Ceremony, I was deeply moved and proud of the solidarity and strength of the Vietnamese people. The image of the solemn and powerful armed forces before the enthusiastic cheers of the people has aroused patriotism and national spirit in every officer and soldier. To have the peace like today, so much blood of previous generations has been shed. Although I only watched the live broadcast, I found the Parade and Marching Ceremony to be very grand and solemn, demonstrating the strength and aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people.
At Tay Bac University, more than 300 staff, lecturers and students were present early in the school's large hall, watching the live program of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade and march.
Student Dinh Thi Hong Nhung, K65, University of Information Technology Education, said: After watching today's ceremony, I am more aware of the value of peace, and deeply feel the losses of our ancestors so that we can have peace today. I will try my best to study, practice, participate in volunteer activities, preserve cultural identity and live responsibly with the community.
Instead of going out to take pictures and check in on the holiday, most families in Son La stayed home to reunite and watch the live broadcast of the Anniversary. For many families, this was a special, emotional, and proud moment when the family gathered together to reminisce about the country's historical moment.
Ms. Lo Thi Lien, Group 12, Chieng Le, To Hieu Ward, shared: From early morning, my whole family got up, had breakfast together and turned on the TV to watch the important events of the country. My husband and I always teach our children and grandchildren to study hard, work hard, and contribute a small part to building our homeland and country.
