'Nha Trang Say Hi' – Greetings from the coastal city

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "The 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival is an opportunity to honor the beauty of the sea and sky; spread local cultural values; connect the community, connect internationally; promote sustainable tourism development and continue to build the brand of Khanh Hoa province". He also said that this summer, the province will deploy a series of unique events imbued with the colors of sea culture, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere, attracting tourists and promoting the local image to domestic and international friends.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was the art program with the theme “Nha Trang Say Hi”, which was elaborately staged and divided into three parts: “Colors of the Ocean”, “Light Dance” and “Rhythm of the Ocean Waves”. The performances combined modern music performances, folk art and light projection technology to create an emotional art space, expressing the spirit of integration while still imbued with local identity. The participation of many popular young artists such as Duc Phuc, Lyly, Pham Anh Khoa, Anh Tu… further increased the attraction of the program.

With the theme “Say Hi”, this year’s festival is not simply a tourism promotion activity, but also a friendly message, demonstrating the spirit of readiness to integrate, expand cooperation, and sustainable development of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa. This is also an opportunity for this coastal city to affirm its position as a dynamic, open, and innovative destination in the context of tourism recovering strongly after the pandemic.

As planned, the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival will last until the end of June, with nearly 40 large and small activities in Nha Trang City and neighboring localities. In addition to art programs and community activities, the festival also has many professional sports tournaments such as the Sanest Salanganes Nest Cup International Beach Volleyball Tournament, Vinpearl Amateur Open golf tournament, Victory Challenge 2025 off-road racing, the 2nd Sea Star swimming tournament, etc. In addition, there are traditional cultural events such as the Ponagar Tower Festival, the Fishing Festival, the Salanganes Nest Festival, etc., contributing to preserving and promoting indigenous cultural values in tourism development.

In 2025, Khanh Hoa province aims to welcome more than 11.8 million overnight visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors, generating tourism revenue of about VND60,000 billion. To realize this goal, the locality has determined to continue promoting and advertising, improving service quality, investing in tourism infrastructure and building new products, aiming for sustainable, modern development with its own identity.

“Nha Trang Say Hi” not only contributes to stimulating tourism but also affirms the position of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa as a dynamic, integrated and friendly destination. In the context of the country’s tourism industry gradually recovering and transforming strongly, Khanh Hoa’s initiative in organizing large-scale and systematic cultural and tourism activities is a testament to its long-term vision and commitment to sustainable development. “Say Hi” – a greeting from the coastal city – is not only symbolic, but also demonstrates an open spirit, ready to connect and reach further on the regional and international tourism map.
