Saigon - Dak Lak Beer Factory: Production associated with social responsibility for the environment, for a green future

Saigon - Dak Lak Beer Factory (belonging to Saigon - Central Beer Joint Stock Company), located at 01 Nguyen Van Linh, Buon Ma Thuot City, is not only a large-scale industrial production facility in the Central Highlands but also a bright spot in linking economic development with environmental protection and community responsibility.

Sustainable development with the community

Since its inauguration in 2007, the factory has continuously expanded its scale, modernized its equipment and improved its production capacity. On an area of over 205,000 m², half is dedicated to green landscapes, creating a fresh and friendly working space. Currently, the factory's capacity reaches 140 million liters of beer, 8 million liters of soft drinks, 40,000 liters of wine and 500 tons of milk per year. It has a team of more than 180 skilled workers and an equipment system imported from Germany.

The factory operates two wastewater treatment systems with a capacity of 1,920 m³/day and night, meeting column A standards according to current regulations. In addition, there is a modern exhaust gas treatment system, ensuring air quality meets column B standards. From 2022, the entire automatic wastewater monitoring system will be directly connected to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dak Lak province, demonstrating the transparency and responsibility of the enterprise in environmental protection.

Global Standards - Strategic Direction

Not only complying with domestic laws, the factory also applies international standards such as SMETA - the world's leading set of business ethics criteria. In addition, the current operational management system meets international standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 50001 and FSSC 22000. These standards not only ensure product quality, but also form the foundation for long-term, sustainable development.

With a sustainable development orientation and a commitment to providing high-quality products that are friendly to human health and the environment, Saigon - Dak Lak Brewery is proud to be the unit that is simultaneously applying the European Organic Standard (EU 2018/848) and the Japanese Organic Standard (JAS) for organic products. Currently, some of the Factory's Lowen Beer brands have been exported to some regional markets. Some other products are also preparing to be exported to some markets with the most stringent standards.

Since 2017, June 24th has been chosen as Environment Day of Saigon - Dak Lak Brewery, a special day for all staff and workers to review and join hands to act for the environment.
