This year's BTS Festa marks the group's 12th anniversary. The members last performed together in 2022, having not toured since 2019 due to the global Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent military service.
All seven members of the group appeared at the concert on June 13, but only Jungkook, J-Hope and Jin performed on stage, in front of about 27,000 fans, according to the group's management company HYBE.
Many fans from all over the world came to BTS's performance
Several fans from around the world flew to Seoul in hopes of catching a glimpse of the BTS members at the show, or any of BTS rapper J-Hope's solo concerts as he wraps up his Hope on the Stage world tour.
"I want to enjoy everything and hope to meet everyone," said Karla Linan Saucede, 33, who came from Mexico with her sister and friends.
"Not just excited but almost numb," said Ayla O'Ryan, 45, from Scotland, adding that she planned to travel to the South Korean capital this month to practice her Korean so she could attend the event.

BTS members Jimin and Jungkook were discharged from the military on June 11, becoming the fifth and sixth to complete their military service. RM and V were discharged on June 10, and the last to complete their service will be Suga on June 21.
While details of the reunion have yet to be announced, the group is expected to embark on its biggest-ever world tour in 2026, according to NH Securities, one of South Korea's largest investment firms.
HYBE shares rose 11.3% in June as brokerages raised their sales estimates for the company ahead of BTS' comeback.
