On the morning of August 3, the Ba Den Mountain International Marathon 2025 took place with the participation of more than 6,000 domestic and international athletes.
The opening ceremony took place the day before at the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area Square (Binh Minh Ward, Tay Ninh Province). On the opening day, there were culinary and sightseeing activities.

The Ba Den Mountain International Marathon 2025 is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province in coordination with Nexus Media Joint Stock Company, Tay Ninh Sun Joint Stock Company - Sun World Tay Ninh Branch and accompanying units.
The race course meets international standards and is recognized by AIMS. Athletes participating in the Ba Den Mountain International Marathon 2025 can use their results to register for major races around the world such as the Boston Marathon, Chicago Marathon, New York City Marathon, etc.
With the theme "Legendary Run" of Ba Den Mountain International Marathon 2025, athletes compete in many distances such as: 5km, 10km, 21km (half marathon) and 42km (marathon).

The running route passes through many beautiful scenic areas of Tay Ninh province, associated with the Ba Den Mountain tourist complex. Specifically, the athletes started from the foot of Ba Den Mountain, making a journey connecting famous landmarks of Tay Ninh such as: Ba Den Mountain, Nui Da Lake, Ma Thien Lanh Valley, Tay Ninh Holy See...
According to Mr. Tran Anh Minh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tay Ninh province, after many times of organization, in 2025, the race will officially expand its scale with the name Ba Den Mountain International Marathon. The race not only marks a breakthrough in terms of expertise and organization scale but also affirms Tay Ninh's vision in making sports a bridge between culture, tourism and international integration.
At the end of the tournament, the organizers awarded prizes to outstanding athletes according to distance, age group and many other secondary prizes. The first prize in the men's 42km distance was athlete Edwin Yebei Kiptoo (Kenyan nationality).
