The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam in coordination with the Korea Tourism Organization, the Korea Creative Content Agency, the Korea Copyright Agency, the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Products Distribution Corporation, and the King Sejong Institute headquartered in Vietnam.
This is the fourth event after last year's success with more than 20,000 attendees. In particular, this year attracted the participation of many Korean businesses operating in Vietnam such as CJ ENM, CGV, Kakao Friends, Dook'n Dook'n... bringing the opportunity to directly experience Hallyu content such as movies, K-beauty, Korean cartoon characters...
Participants will learn and enjoy Korean culinary culture through brands such as Daesang, Binggrae, Otoki, Orion, Samlip, Otochick...
The art performance program will bring special performances including stages by popular V-pop artists such as CONGB (Nguyen Thanh Cong), Ngo Lan Huong; professional Taekwondo performance from the Korean Taekwondo National Team; traditional art performances combining Vietnam and Korea from Noreum Machi Art Troupe and Vietnam Art Performance Troupe; vibrant K-pop cover dance performances, DJ show.
In addition, the event also has areas for experiencing Hanbok wearing, Korean handicrafts, photo taking and Korean tourism promotion, attractive folk games of both Vietnam and Korea such as "Spinning the circle", "Jump rope", "Capture the flag", "Blindfolded drum beating"... to help connect culture and people.
Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, Mr. Choi Seungjin, said that the unit has carefully prepared a combined art performance program between Vietnam and Korea and experiential activities where people can directly participate to further strengthen the friendship between the two countries through culture.
In the coming time, the Center will continue to organize many diverse activities in Ho Chi Minh City as well as throughout Vietnam, contributing to bringing the two countries closer together through culture.
