The first project is the Phu Binh 2 220kV transformer station and the Thai Nguyen - Bac Giang 220kV branch line, with a total investment of more than 559 billion VND. Construction started in September 2024, the project was completed and energized in April 2025, making an important contribution to ensuring stable power supply for the southern region of Thai Nguyen province, especially industrial parks and clusters.
The second project is the 4 110kV output lines project after the 220kV Phu Binh 2 transformer station, which has also been put into operation since May 2025, with a total investment of over 170 billion VND. The project includes 4 new 110kV lines and renovation, burying more than 1.1km of 22kV lines in neighboring communes and wards.
The commissioning of these projects not only improves the reliability of power supply and reduces the load on the regional power grid, but also contributes to strengthening regional connectivity and ensuring stable operation of the national power system. These are also practical projects to welcome party congresses at all levels, demonstrating the efforts and creativity of the electricity sector in the task of ensuring energy security and serving socio-economic development.
