At the places visited, the ward leaders kindly asked about the health and life of the martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, they expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of previous generations in the cause of fighting for national independence and defending the Fatherland.
The ward leaders emphasized that taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy families is not only a responsibility but also a sentiment and morality of “When drinking water, remember its source” of the nation. This meaningful activity is maintained annually, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party Committee, government and people of Tien Thanh ward for the work of “Repaying gratitude”. This contributes to educating the revolutionary tradition, patriotism and sense of responsibility for today’s generation.
Representatives of policy families expressed their emotions and sincere thanks for the attention of local leaders. The gifts, though small, contained sentiments, contributing to encouraging families to continue promoting revolutionary traditions and building an increasingly better life.
Tien Thanh Ward currently has 23 policy families. On this occasion, each family received a gift worth 500,000 VND, including gifts and 300,000 VND in cash.
