In preparation for the new school year 2025-2026, the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province is preparing all conditions to receive students who are children of officials, civil servants, and workers from Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces (old) coming to Lam Dong to work.

On July 27, Director of Lam Dong Department of Education and Training Le Thi Bich Lien said that before the new school year, the Department had received 1,249 students of all levels (as of July 25) who are children of officials, civil servants, armed forces and workers who registered to study at schools in the old Da Lat City ( Lam Dong ).

According to Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien, Lam Dong Department of Education and Training has reviewed the school and class system in Da Lat City (old), especially schools near the headquarters of agencies and units to arrange for children of officials to come to Lam Dong to study and make it convenient for parents to pick them up and drop them off.

Accordingly, Lam Dong Department of Education and Training has prepared a plan to open 7 more classrooms for students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 at Quang Trung Secondary School, Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School, Chi Lang Secondary School and High School (in the old Da Lat City), to fully meet the needs of students registering to transfer schools.

At the same time, Lam Dong Department of Education and Training has planned to adjust teachers and essential equipment to ensure changes in teaching and learning in the new school year.

Regarding the forecast of the possibility of student overload in schools in the old Da Lat city and teacher shortage due to fluctuations in student numbers, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong Le Thi Bich Lien said that at the same time, high schools in the old Da Lat city received a very large number of students from Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces (old) to study, which was a temporary challenge and difficulty due to the high number of students per class. However, to solve this difficulty, the Department of Education and Training proactively organized meetings with schools to discuss and reasonably arrange to receive the number of students in each grade and class according to the capacity of each school.

To solve the problem of overloaded classes and student numbers per class, Lam Dong Department of Education and Training is reviewing, coordinating with relevant agencies, and proposing to competent authorities for approval of the policy of opening more inter-level schools, temporarily using surplus facilities to meet the learning needs of children of officials and civil servants from Binh Thuan and the former Dak Nong who come to Lam Dong to work.

"With its proactiveness and responsibility, Lam Dong education sector is determined to accompany and share difficulties with cadres, civil servants and workers, helping them stabilize their lives so they can work with peace of mind," Ms. Le Thi Bich Lien shared.
