The week has 70 booths of 50 units, businesses and cooperatives from Hanoi and 15 provinces and cities across the country.
The week aims to promote and connect the consumption of fruit products, seasonal agricultural products, regional specialties and OCOP products, at the same time, contributing to supporting businesses and cooperatives to exploit the domestic market, effectively stimulating consumption, responding to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen The Hiep said that many activities to support businesses in the provinces to consume goods in the capital market have been implemented in recent times.
Typical activities include trading and connecting products from provinces such as Can Tho, Dak Lak, Bac Ninh , Dien Bien, Son La; introducing seasonal products and OCOP from more than 10 provinces to the Hanoi distribution system; deploying Luc Ngan and Thanh Ha lychee selling points at Royal City and Times City commercial centers...
Thereby, many regional specialties and OCOP products of localities have served the consumption needs of more than 11 million people living, studying and working in Hanoi.

The Fruit and Agricultural Products Week Program of provinces and cities in 2025 also contributes to encouraging the development of traditional trade and e-commerce for agricultural products, fruits and OCOP products.
According to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, consumers in the capital increasingly prefer specialty products with clear origins, reputable brands, geographical indications, high quality, and are willing to accept higher prices than regular products.
The 2025 provincial and municipal fruit and agricultural product week takes place at Lac Long Quan flower garden, Tay Ho ward until September 15.
