Currently, Xuan Duong commune also records other areas at risk of local flooding such as: Thong Loc, Na Tung, Khon Mun, Ban Lau, Hang U, Hoa Binh , Doan Ket...
Authorities have assisted about 20 households in flooded areas and areas at risk of landslides to evacuate to safe areas.
The commune government has mobilized excavators to landslide sites on the roads to ensure smooth traffic.

On Provincial Road 243 in Huu Lien Commune, heavy rain caused landslides that covered the entire road surface. At the same time, some areas of the road were flooded with water up to 80cm deep.
Currently, the authorities of Huu Lien commune have mobilized functional forces to support households to evacuate from the dangerous area, and at the same time notified the functional unit managing provincial road 243 to take timely measures to handle and fix the problem, ensuring traffic safety on the route.
On August 21, heavy rain occurred in Lang Son province, many areas such as Huu Lung, Bac Son, Xuan Duong, Tan Thanh, Tuan Son, Cai Kinh, Yen Binh, Huu Lien, Nhat Hoa communes... recorded localized flooding.
The leaders of Lang Son Provincial Police have directed the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police, the Police of communes and wards to strengthen their grasp of the situation, proactively coordinate with local authorities and forces in the area to urgently deploy forces, check households in dangerous locations, support the reinforcement of houses, and evacuate people and property to safety.

Currently, units continue to maintain 100% of their troops on duty 24/7, fully prepare means and rescue plans in all situations, and resolutely minimize damage caused by floods.
The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police mobilized 16 officers, 3 cars, 2 rubber boats to Nhat Hoa commune, a commune with many deeply flooded and isolated areas, to support and evacuate people and property.
Lang Son Provincial Police recommend that people be vigilant, regularly update information from the government and functional forces, and proactively evacuate when required to ensure the safety of life and property.
According to the forecast of the Lang Son Province Hydrometeorological Station, heavy rain may continue to occur, leading to the risk of flooding and landslides in some communes in the province.
