Hojlund could leave MU this summer.

BBC reports that MU are taking decisive action to radically reform their attack ahead of the 2025/26 season. The Red Devils' key target at the moment is to recruit Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig.

To ensure compliance with the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability (PSR) regulations, MU will need to sell players if they sign Sesko. And Hojlund is one of the faces at risk of leaving Old Trafford.

The Danish striker scored a goal in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth on July 31. Immediately after the match, Hojlund sought out reporters to confirm that he wanted to continue staying at MU, despite the club's plans to recruit Sesko.

According to BBC , Hojlund's book value is currently around £43 million, as he is in the third year of his contract with MU. However, the "Red Devils" are willing to take a loss to let Hojlund leave and fill the void with Sesko.

This summer, MU spent nearly 130 million pounds to recruit Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. However, the "Red Devils" are allowed to pay in installments, significantly reducing the actual amount the team has to spend this year. This allows MU to sign more players like Sesko.

According to talkSPORT , Leipzig are interested in Hojlund and want to have this striker as part of the deal to help MU recruit Sesko. However, Hojlund refused to play in the Bundesliga and wants to focus on developing his career at MU.

MU crushed Bournemouth 4-1 On the morning of July 31, MU defeated Bournemouth 4-1, thereby winning the Premier League Summer Series championship.
