Among the 10 players who had to leave Old Trafford this summer, three notable names include central defender duo Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof and midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Centre-back Lindelof spent eight years at Man Utd after moving from Benfica in 2017. He made 284 appearances for the club, winning an FA Cup and a League Cup.

Eriksen, meanwhile, is also a free agent when he moves to Man Utd in 2022. The Dane has been working to regain fitness after suffering a heart attack in May 2021 during Euro 2024. The midfielder has played 108 times for Man Utd, scoring eight goals and assisting 19.

Veteran goalkeeper Tom Heaton and young players Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan and Tom Wooster will also be released by the club this summer.
"The Academy is proud of all the young players who leave at all age groups. They will be supported to secure contracts at new clubs, provided with appropriate after-care programmes and will always be committed to Man Utd for life," the Old Trafford club said in a statement.
Meanwhile, coach Ruben Amorim welcomed new signing Matheus Cunha to Old Trafford from Wolves when the "Red Devils" activated a contract release clause of up to 62.5 million pounds. In addition, Man Utd are targeting Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo and Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres.
