Provincial Labor Federation organizes "Union Meal" at Trang Bang Industrial Park

On July 29, the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) coordinated with the Board of Directors of Tran Hiep Thanh Textile Joint Stock Company and Hanh Phuc Textile Joint Stock Company (Trang Bang Industrial Park, An Tinh Ward) to organize a "Union Meal".

Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Provincial Industrial Zones Trade Union Board Duong Dai Loc ; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Provincial Trade Union Working Board Nguyen Hoai Thanh ; Deputy Head of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board Truong Van Hung.

Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Duong Dai Loc said that the "Union Meal" was launched and implemented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor from May 2024 on the occasion of Workers' Month and has been maintained until now. This demonstrates the concern of trade union organizations and enterprises for union members and workers, not only creating better quality meals for union members and workers to improve their physical health but also an opportunity to share, exchange, and connect in labor and production.

He hopes that businesses and grassroots unions will continue to pay more attention to employees. In addition, employees must continue to improve their skills, comply with company rules and regulations, and create stable and harmonious labor relations.

Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation had lunch with union members and workers at the companies.

"Union meals" were organized at 2 companies for 1,500 employees with meals worth 80,000 VND/meal (of which, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 45,000 VND/meal).

On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor also presented 50 gifts to union members and employees in difficult circumstances of the two companies, each gift worth 1 million VND./.
