Lexus unexpectedly increases price of popular family SUV TX
Entering its third year on the market, the new generation Lexus TX SUV receives some minor upgrades but comes with a noticeable price increase.

The Lexus TX – the Japanese brand’s new three-row SUV – has quickly become the third best-selling model thanks to its combination of spaciousness and refinement. Now in its third year on the market, the TX has received some minor updates, but they come at a significant price increase. The most noticeable new feature is the Matador Red Mica paint color for non-F Sport versions. In the highest configuration TX 550h+ plug-in hybrid, the car is now equipped with a panoramic sunroof, increasing luxury.
However, the price also increased: the standard TX 350 increased by $500, to $57,090. The TX 500h also increased by $500, starting at $70,610. The TX 550h+ alone increased by a whopping $2,300, to $80,960, most likely due to the addition of a panoramic sunroof. Despite the minor changes, the 2026 TX lineup is still very rich with 7 versions and 3 engine options, from a 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder (275 horsepower).
The car has a 366-horsepower hybrid powertrain in the TX 500h, and the 550h+ plug-in hybrid with a 3.5L V6 engine combined with 2 electric motors, total capacity of 404 horsepower, traveling 53 km on electricity alone. Even the standard TX 350 version is quite high-end with LED lights, 20-inch rims, electric trunk, 14-inch entertainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto,... Additionally, the car has heated front seats, a heated leather steering wheel and a 12-speaker sound system. The Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 safety package is also standard with a full range of advanced driver assistance features.
Overall, the Lexus TX 2026 does not have many changes in design or equipment, but the slightly higher price shows Lexus's strategy to stay competitive in the luxury family SUV segment. There is currently no information about the new generation Lexus TX 2026 SUV model arriving in Vietnam - this is a luxury SUV model for large families, which many consumers are interested in and want to own.
