On the afternoon of November 18, Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh, Chief of Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, received support for people affected by storm Yagi (storm No. 3) in the amount of 300 million VND from Novo Nordisk Vietnam Company Limited.
Mr. Erik Wiebols, General Director of Novo Nordisk Vietnam Co., Ltd. said that in the face of the impact of storm No. 3, Novo Nordisk Vietnam Co., Ltd. mobilized its staff and employees to donate 300 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods. Hopefully, through the Front organization, this amount of money will be quickly transferred to the affected people, thereby helping them gradually overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh, Chief of Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that this is the heart and sharing of Novo Nordisk Vietnam Company Limited towards people in the storm and flood areas. Promoting the spirit of mutual love and affection of the nation, in recent days, many agencies, units, organizations and individuals at home and abroad have joined hands, contributed timely resources, helped people quickly overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, and helped people soon stabilize their lives.
Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh pledged that the donated money will be used by the Central Relief Mobilization Committee for the right purposes, requirements and publicly in accordance with the provisions of law; distributed promptly, transparently, to the right people, the right addresses in the localities affected by storm No. 3; at the same time, he hoped that agencies, units, organizations and individuals would continue to promote the spirit of mutual love and affection, spread more noble gestures, and join hands to help those in difficulty in society.
