Accordingly, the “Metro Culture” Campaign is a series of activities aimed at raising community awareness, guiding polite, courteous and sharing behavior when participating in public transport. Each civilized passenger is a typical representative of the image of a dynamic, modern and livable city.
The first activity in the campaign is to change the color of priority seats on Metro Line 1 trains. The seats are redesigned with prominent, easily recognizable colors, helping passengers easily remember and distinguish them.
Through this, the campaign conveys the message of caring and sharing, encouraging the behavior of giving up seats to the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant women and children as a practical expression of urban behavioral culture.
This activity has been implemented since April 30, 2025 and initially received attention and positive response from the community. Many passengers actively shared on social networks with images and feelings about the new, humane changes on the Metro train.
Some passengers said it was heartwarming to see someone take the initiative to give up their seat. Parents, seniors and people with disabilities all expressed satisfaction at feeling cared for in modern public spaces.
Changing the color of priority seats not only has visual meaning but also shows respect and kindness in public transport spaces.
This is also the first step for the next series of activities within the framework of the "Metro Culture" campaign, contributing to building the image of Metro as not only modern but also civilized.
HURC1 representative said that in the coming time, the Company will continue to implement activities within the "Metro Culture" campaign such as: organizing propaganda activities and coordinating with mass organizations to build a friendly and civilized public transport space.
With the support of the City's people and mass organizations, the campaign will contribute to raising community awareness, building a safe - civilized - modern public transport environment, gradually spreading good values to the entire urban transport system in the future.
