On the afternoon of June 7, at exactly 3:30 p.m., after 60 minutes of taking the exam, more than 11,036 candidates across the province completed the English exam, concluding the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year for 10,264 non-specialized candidates. According to records at many testing sites, the exam organization process was safe and in accordance with regulations, the English exam was assessed as being within the students' ability and not difficult.

Candidate Nguyen Huu Minh, Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School, Binh Luc District, was excited after leaving the exam room. Minh said: The English test was quite easy. I finished it in more than half the time and sat down to review my work. The listening part was also simple, not causing any difficulty for the candidate. I was very happy because the test was easier than I thought. Nguyen Huu Minh is a candidate who registered for the Math exam at Bien Hoa Specialized High School. English was one of the subjects I was worried about before the exam.

For students taking the entrance exam to non-specialized high schools, English is the last exam in the three compulsory subjects (Literature, Math, English). The English exam consists of 5 parts, following the same structure as previous years' exams. Candidates assessed that the exam closely followed the curriculum and had been thoroughly reviewed in class. At the exam site of Bac Ly High School (Ly Nhan), many candidates said they had finished the exam before the scheduled time and felt satisfied with their work.

Candidate Vu Thi Minh Thu, from Kim Bang A High School, said: The test followed the curriculum closely, and was similar to the types of questions I had learned. I finished the test early and was confident that I got about 8 points. The atmosphere at this test site was orderly and serious, and students left the test room in a happy mood.

Many English teachers believe that the structure of this year's exam does not include any type of puzzles for students, but there is still differentiation in some advanced questions. According to Ms. Do Hong Ngoc Diep, an English teacher at Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted, this year's exam is suitable for students, average students can also get 6-7.5 points. Good and excellent students can get 8-9 points. I think this year there will be many 9 points and 10 points are not rare.

Safe and serious from organization to invigilation

Not only completing on schedule, this year's 10th grade high school entrance exam in Ha Nam has initially been highly appreciated for its organization, especially ensuring security and safety at all examination councils. Nguyen Khuyen High School (Binh Luc) is one of the sites that does a good job of ensuring security, order, facilities and exam service conditions. This year, this site has 317 candidates registered for the exam, divided into 14 exam rooms. Before the exam, the school reviewed the entire infrastructure system, added equipment, and prepared all necessary conditions. During the exam, the work of ensuring security, preventing cheating, and supporting candidates was carried out seriously and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Principal of Nguyen Khuyen High School, said: We determine that our responsibility is not only to organize the exam according to regulations but also to create the best conditions for candidates. Therefore, the school has coordinated with the police of the communes, strictly implementing regulations on security and order, ensuring the safety of the exam sites; at the same time, arranging medical staff on duty throughout the exam, and youth volunteers to serve drinking water and essential conditions for candidates and exam invigilators.

Exam sites across the province were also recorded to be safe and serious, with no violations of exam regulations. According to the Ha Nam Departmentof Education and Training, during the two exam days, the exam councils all performed well the process from receiving exam questions, invigilating exams to collecting papers. The serious and impartial working spirit of the officers and invigilators contributed to ensuring the exam took place in accordance with regulations.

Thus, 10,264 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for non-specialized high schools in the 2025-2026 school year have completed the final exam. With a stable exam structure and thoughtful organization, the exam not only meets admission requirements, but also creates a solid foundation for the 2025-2026 school year.
