No violations detected in grading high school graduation exams in Lao Cai

GD&TĐ - Lao Cai Provincial Inspectorate confirmed that there were no violations in the grading of the 2025 high school graduation exam in Region 2 (old Lao Cai province).

The Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province has just announced that on July 16, the Lao Cai Provincial Inspectorate announced the conclusion of the inspection on the grading of the 2025 high school graduation exam. Previously, implementing Decision No. 119/QD-TT dated June 26, 2025 of the Provincial Inspectorate, the Inspection Team conducted an inspection at Lao Cai Specialized High School from June 28 to July 13, 2025.

The delegation inspected and verified 8 contents: from direction and implementation; conditions for exam marking; transportation and preservation of exam papers; making and marking essay and multiple-choice tests; combining test papers and entering scores; to handling violations and managing scores.

In conclusion, the Lao Cai Department of Education and Training has established a full Examination Council, an Essay and Multiple Choice Exam Marking Board in accordance with regulations. The preparation of facilities has been carefully carried out, ensuring safety and security for the exam marking activities. The relevant departments have performed their duties properly, ensuring progress and quality.

The marking process in region 2 was conducted seriously, in accordance with regulations, and no violations or limitations were detected.

This year's exam in Region 2 has 9,243 candidates registered for the exam, of which 8,911 are in grade 12 (including 7,653 candidates from high schools and 1,258 candidates from provincial vocational education and training centers). In addition, there are 332 independent candidates, of which 101 are taking the exam under the 2018 general education program and 231 are taking the 2006 general education program.
