Terrifying moment plane crashes onto highway in Italy

A small plane crashed onto a busy highway in Italy, killing at least two people.

According to the Daily Mail on July 23, the accident occurred in the province of Brescia, Italy. Video footage of the incident shows the small plane crashing onto a busy highway and exploding into a "fireball".

Emergency services were quickly on the scene and firefighters were seen extinguishing the blaze.

The plane was completely destroyed, killing two people on board, a 75-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman.

Two drivers were injured after the plane exploded and were treated at a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.

The horrific crash came just days after a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI fighter jet crashed into a school in the capital Dhaka, killing 31 people, including at least 25 children.

Video footage of the incident showed smoke billowing from the crash site as people tried to extinguish the flames. The Bangladesh Air Force said the fighter jet had suffered a technical problem.
