The National Exhibition and Fair Center has a total area of over 900,000m², positioned to become the largest exhibition center complex in Southeast Asia and in the top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world . The highlight is the Kim Quy Exhibition Building, a symbolic structure with a steel dome weighing 24,000 tons, 56m high, simulating the image of the Golden Turtle God associated with the legend of the Co Loa heritage land. With an area of about 130,000m² including 9 main halls and 1 central hall, the project is an ideal space to organize thematic exhibitions and large-scale events.
The exhibition ecosystem also includes a permanent exhibition center (block A); 4 outdoor exhibition yards (East-West-South-North); VinPalace Co Loa International Convention Center with a scale of 16,800m² with 12 banquet and conference halls with a capacity of more than 5,000 people and many auxiliary areas such as green parks, regulating lakes, a food court of more than 3,000m², and a parking lot of 18 hectares with a capacity of more than 10,000 seats.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup Corporation, said: The National Exhibition and Fair Center is a key project of great socio-economic significance. Located at the gateway to the capital, the largest in Southeast Asia, the project was completed after nearly 10 months of construction. After its inauguration, the center will be the focal point of the National Achievements Exhibition and a series of large-scale cultural and artistic events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2. With the scale of the project and its strategic geographical location, the center is expected to become a new growth engine for the capital Hanoi and the whole country.

According to information from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme Radiant Vietnam: 80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness is divided into many sub-areas.
The general exhibition area at Kim Quy Exhibition House with the theme Vietnam - Journey to a new era, including the Vietnam-Country-People space implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, displays culture, art, and common achievements, introducing and honoring the beauty of nature, country, culture and people of Vietnam.
The space "95 years of the Party Flag lighting the way" was produced by Nhan Dan Newspaper.
The "Development Creation" space, organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with ministries, branches, and government agencies, introduces the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
The space "Rich Province, Strong Country" displays achievements in the renovation period, cultural identity, and development potential of 34 provinces and cities.
The "Economic Locomotive" space displays the achievements of key state-owned enterprises.
The space "Startup nation building" introduces the achievements of typical private enterprises and national brand enterprises with the aspiration to build a rich and prosperous country.
The outdoor exhibition area has the theme of Integration and Development with five display spaces: For a green future, Sky aspiration, Sword and shield implemented by the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of National Defense and Ministry of Public Security.
The National Festival space includes exhibitions, fairs on tourism, culture, cuisine, entertainment areas and experiential activities for children.
In addition, the international exhibition area and 12 cultural industries (at the Exhibition Hall Block A) with the theme "Integration and Creativity" are divided into two parts. The Vietnam and the World space is the display area of the diplomatic sector and embassies in Vietnam. The Creative Space is for the construction, display and installation of products and works from 12 cultural industries and achievements in each field.
The opening ceremony of the national achievements exhibition will officially take place on August 28. The exhibition will last until September 5.
