Inauguration and installation of signboard for social housing project in Ngan Ban hill residential area

In the atmosphere of emulation to achieve achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam September 2 (1945-2025), along with many projects in the province, on the morning of August 19, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Joint Venture of Global Financial Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company No. 6 to organize the inauguration ceremony and signboard of the social housing project in the residential area of Ngan Ban Hill (Ha Lam Ward). Attending the event was comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

The social housing project in the residential area of Ngan Bang Hill (Ha Lam Ward) was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 386/QD-UBND dated February 14, 2022. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee approved the investor in Decision No. 1389/QD-UBND dated May 27, 2022.

With maximum support from the province, departments, branches, localities and the determination of investors, on October 30, 2022,   The project was started on an area of nearly 26,000m2. Of which, the construction land area is over 7,400m2; green land is over 5,000m2; technical infrastructure land is over 13,300m2. The project items include: Technical infrastructure system within the project and connecting the common technical infrastructure of the Bank Hill residential area ; construction of 3 apartment buildings, of which 2 buildings are 19 floors high, 1 mezzanine, 1 technical floor; 1 building is 17 floors high, 1 mezzanine, 1 technical floor, 1 semi-basement; total construction floor area is over 125,000m2. The project creates 986 apartments, of which 790 are social apartments for low-income people. The project has a total investment capital of about 1,361 billion VND.

Up to now, the project has been completed, inspected and accepted by the specialized agency under the Ministry of Construction , ensuring technical, aesthetic and construction quality, and qualified for use; at the same time, a signboard has been attached to the project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, acknowledged and praised the efforts of the Joint Venture of Global Financial Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company No. 6. The project was completed early, put into operation and used effectively, meeting the housing needs and realizing the dream of settling down of workers.

He also emphasized that the social housing project in the Bank Hill residential area is one of 50 projects and works with a total investment of about 135,000 billion VND selected by the province to simultaneously start construction, launch, and inaugurate to celebrate the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and is also one of 80 points nationwide to organize groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for construction projects.

The event has profound political and social significance, arousing national pride, encouraging cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province to promote the tradition of solidarity and revolutionary fighting spirit, creating new momentum for socio-economic development, attracting investment, and enhancing the position of Quang Ninh.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also emphasized that in recent times, there have been many preferential mechanisms and policies to encourage businesses to participate in investing in the construction of social housing, while creating the most favorable conditions for low-income people, workers, civil servants and other policy beneficiaries to have the opportunity to access housing. To promote the development of social housing in the province in the coming time, investors of social housing projects in the province urgently complete related legal documents, focus resources to start construction and carry out the remaining work of the project. Departments and branches focus on and coordinate with investors to resolve difficulties. People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones review land funds planned for social housing development according to the approved housing development plan of the province, publicize information on social housing as a basis for assigning to investors.
