Opening of the 7th Patriotic Emulation Congress of "Exemplary Veterans" of Quang Nam Province (2024)

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Tan Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Association of War Veterans emphasized that the 7th Provincial Patriotic Emulation Congress of "Exemplary War Veterans" is an opportunity for the Provincial Association of War Veterans to summarize the achievements in the patriotic emulation movement of exemplary war veterans in the period of 2019 - 2024, thereby evaluating and drawing lessons in leadership and direction of the organization of the emulation movement.

The congress commended and rewarded the soldiers of Uncle Ho's Army who had fought in the battlefields and now returned to civilian life, not resigned to poverty, determined to rise up to become rich, and contribute to society; continuing to engrave in mind the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho: "Competition is patriotism, patriotism requires competition. And, those who compete are the most patriotic."

At the official session of the congress, programs took place such as: reporting the results of the preparatory congress, presenting flowers to congratulate the congress, presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroes of the People's Armed Forces;

Summary report of the patriotic emulation movement of exemplary war veterans in the period of 2019 - 2024; report on presentations and advanced examples, speeches of provincial leaders and the Central Committee of the Vietnam War Veterans Association; approval of the list of delegates attending the Central "Exemplary War Veterans" Patriotic Emulation Congress...

Within the framework of the official session of the congress, delegates attending the congress donated more than 40 million VND to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
