The 4th season is expected to gather about 13,000 domestic and foreign athletes, including professional athletes, amateurs, celebrities, businesses and the running community.

The increase in size over the years is a testament to the positive change in social awareness, as running is gradually becoming part of an active and healthy lifestyle.

Thanks to that, the tournament increasingly affirms its positive influence in promoting a healthy lifestyle, nurturing the spirit of perseverance and aspiration to rise up in the era of rising up of the Vietnamese people.

Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, emphasized that the Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is one of the key sports activities of the capital after the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, contributing practically to promoting the spirit of sports and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

“Over the past 3 seasons of co-organization, the event has attracted more than 26,000 athletes, affirming its sustainable appeal and widespread influence throughout the domestic and international communities. We acknowledge and appreciate the positive impacts that the event has brought, and at the same time commit to continue to closely coordinate with the organizing committee to ensure professional work and competition safety. This is also part of the long-term orientation of Hanoi city in connecting culture, sports and tourism, contributing to promoting the image of a modern Hanoi, rich in identity and deeply integrated with international friends,” said Mr. Pham Xuan Tai.

Along with the growth in scale and influence, this year's season marks an important step forward in organization, with the highlight being the adjustment of the competition route to improve the quality of experience for athletes.

The 4th season is expected to gather about 13,000 domestic and foreign athletes.

Specifically, the two distances of Marathon (42.195 km) and Half Marathon (21.1 km) will have their race routes adjusted to ensure competition safety and minimize impacts on people's daily lives.

Traffic coordination and control activities will also be implemented synchronously, under close coordination between the organizing committee and relevant agencies, towards a professionally, orderly and effectively organized event.

With reasonable adjustments in operations, this year's route will lead athletes through 37 unique landmarks and constructions, from locations associated with cultural and historical depth to modern highlights, clearly reflecting the multi-dimensional development of Hanoi.

Through each step, participants not only conquer their physical limits, but also have the opportunity to explore a Hanoi that is changing every day, where traditional values still go hand in hand with a creative and constantly moving lifestyle.

The Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is therefore not simply a race, but also a journey connecting sports, culture and tourism, contributing to spreading the image of the capital as a dynamic destination, rich in identity and loved by the international community.

In addition to the official competition distances, the 4th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon also offers exciting sideline activities, taking place throughout three days, from October 3-5.

Not only is it a useful sports playground to help children practice physical fitness and build an active lifestyle, the event is also an opportunity for the whole family to bond, when parents directly accompany and cheer on their children on their journey of comprehensive development.
