iPhone 17 Pro Max real photos leaked in public

Recently, a leaked image has caused a stir in the technology community when it shows a man holding a device believed to be the iPhone 17 Pro Max. This phone is wrapped in a black protective case, possibly intended to hide the actual design of the product when testing in public.

The notable point on the leaked device is the camera cluster area with round holes in the upper right corner. According to MacRumors ' analysis, this could be the location of the LED flash system and LiDAR sensor, this detail is quite similar to previous leaked information about the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The man in the photo is also seen holding an iPhone 16 Pro, sparking speculation that this could be an Apple employee testing the new product for development purposes.

According to MacRumors , the camera system on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will receive a series of significant upgrades. Specifically, the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to support optical zoom up to 5x, while the Pro Max version can reach 8x optical zoom.

Additionally, Apple is said to be adding a new button next to the existing Camera Control button that will act as a secondary Camera Control button, giving users quick access to the camera and related settings.

At the same time, the company also plans to launch a new, more professional camera application, to compete directly with popular camera applications on the market such as Halide, Kino and Filmic Pro.

This information shows that Apple is aiming to turn the iPhone 17 Pro into a powerful video recording tool, targeting the vlogger community and content creators.

Regarding the screen, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max duo are expected to have significant improvements to limit scratches and minimize external light reflection.

Screen glare reduction technology, similar to Corning's Gorilla Armor protective glass on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Ultra, is expected to be integrated on these two high-end iPhone models.

Supply chain sources say Apple’s partners have secured mass production capacity for the new display technology, but the feature is expected to be reserved for the two highest-end iPhone models in the upcoming lineup.
